こどもの日　明け方に「赤い月」

とうとう，GWですねぇ．
二日の同窓会が楽しみです．
そのGWの後半である子供の日に赤い月が見れるそうです．
ちょっと不気味ですけどねぇ．

先週の金曜日の四月二十三日にはブラッドフィールド彗星が見れたそうです．

「彗星のごとく現れた」と言うけれど、ブラッドフィールド彗星（C/2004 F4）は、その表現にぴったり。2004年3月末に発見され、4月13日には約3等の明るさとなり、月の直径ほどの尾が伸びていた。そして4月17日に太陽に最接近。23日ごろには日本でも明け方の東の空低～く見え始める。その頃にはリニア彗星も同じ東の地平線近くに見える。ゴールデンウイーク前にさっそく二つの大型彗星が見られるかも。

さて，月って言うのは，どこかしら神秘的なものを感じてしまいます．
大きな隕石が地球に激突して，分裂したものが月であるとか月の成り立ちについては，
諸説あるようですが．
天体ショーとまではいきませんけど，子供さんや奥さん，恋人と赤い月を眺めたりてみませんか？

これを逃すと，次は2007年になっちゃうみたいですよぉ．

大型彗星が次々にやってくると思えば、今度は皆既月食。今年のゴールデンウィーク前後は天文ファンにとって大忙し。5月5日「こどもの日」の未明に見られる皆既月食は、望遠鏡や双眼鏡がなくても見られるし、次に日本で皆既月食が見られるチャンスは2007年までない。お子さんと一緒に早起きして（又は徹夜で）、欠けて行く月を楽しんでみては？
